Venture into the Vault
Term
- Vehicle Vault’s “Venture Into The Vault” contest begins December 7, 2022 and ends February 8, 2023. All times associated with this contest are Mountain Time Zone.
- Registration and Submission Period: December 7 through January 20, 2023.
- Voting Period: February 22 through March 22, 2023.
Who May Enter
- “Venture into The Vault” is open to all legal US residents aged 18 years old or older. Employees of Vehicle Vault are not eligible to participate. Vehicle Vault will determine winners’ eligibility in its sole discretion.
- By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the following:
- to abide by the rules of the contest contained herein;
- affirms that he or she is 18 years old or older;
- is a legal resident of the United States;
- has a valid driver’s license;
- owns and possesses valid title of the vehicle being entered into the competition;
- if selected as a Winner, that the vehicle being submitted is in a drivable condition in order to place the vehicle on Vehicle Vault’s Gallery floor;
- if selected as a Winner, to execute Vehicle Vault’s Exhibition Waiver and Release;
- if selected as a Winner, to be available to move the selected vehicle into Vehicle Vault at an assigned time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and also agrees to remove the vehicle at an assigned time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM;
- to continue to carry their full coverage insurance for the duration of the exhibit.
How To Enter
- Register online during the Registration and Submission Period. You will provide photographs and written description. Submissions must be received during the Registration and Submission period.
- Submissions must be completed prior to being eligible to receive votes.
- Submitted photographs shall be of entrant’s actual vehicle and entrant must have all rights to the submitted photograph.
- Photographs must be in either JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) format. All photograph submissions must be no larger than 50 mb in size.
- Entrant is responsible for providing the written description of entrant’s vehicle and shall ensure that it is valid concerning the vehicle’s current condition and status. Tell us what makes your vehicle unique.
Judging
- Judging shall be conducted by the general public. All voting shall take place online.
- Voters shall be required to provide their first and last names as well as a valid email address in order to cast a vote. Voting is limited to one email address per day.
- The number of votes will be shown for each submission on the voting gallery webpage.
- Upon completion of the Voting Period the five (5) submissions receiving the largest number of votes will be selected as Winners.
- In the event of a tie that results in a Winner pool larger than five (5), Vehicle Vault shall decide the tie-breaking vote at its sole discretion. All decisions by Vehicle Vault will be final.
- Winners will be notified via email and/or by phone. Notifications will not be provided to any submissions not chosen as a Winner.
- If any Winner is unable to exhibit their submitted vehicle according to the rules, they shall waive their status and Vehicle Vault shall award the winning spot to the submission with the next highest number of votes. In the event of a tie, Vehicle Vault shall decide the tie-breaking vote at its sole discretion. All decisions by Vehicle Vault will be final.
- Winners shall also be announced via Vehicle Vault’s social media channels.
Winners
- The Winners selected will have their submitted vehicles exhibited in Vehicle Vault, on the Gallery Floor, for a special and limited event. Recognition of each vehicle’s owner shall be printed in specific signage for each vehicle. Vehicle Vault’s normal operations, including opening hours and museum admission fees shall apply.
- Winning photos will be published on Vehicle Vault’s website and social media channels.
Conditions of Entry
- All entrants hold Vehicle Vault and their respective directors, officers, employees, and volunteers (the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from and against all claims of any nature arising in connection with entrant’s participation in the contest and acceptance of being named as a Winner. The Indemnified Parties are not liable for any costs, damages, injuries, or other claims incurred as a result of entrants’ participation in the contest or acceptance of being named as a Winner. The Indemnified Parties are not responsible for incomplete or misdirected entries, technical or network malfunctions or failures, or causes beyond their control. Entrants are solely responsible for their entries and Vehicle Vault is not responsible for entries that do not comply with these rules. Entrants may not submit materials that introduce any software viruses, worms or other programs designed to damage software, hardware or telecommunications equipment or are off-topic, partisan-political, contain advertising, nudity, personal attacks or expletives, or is otherwise abusive, threatening, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, libelous, obscene, false, vulgar, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the rights of any third party. ). Vehicle Vault in its sole discretion reserves the right not to allow any submission containing such a photograph or written description and cancel your participation in the contest if we determine your submission violates any of these conditions.
- Entrant agrees not to reproduce, download, re-distribute, copy, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any submission (other than entrant’s own) contained in the site to anyone. Entrant further acknowledges and agrees that, except as set forth herein, entrant has no right to modify, edit, alter or enhance any of the submissions (other than entrant’s own) in any manner and that failure to abide by this condition is grounds for immediate removal from the contest by Vehicle Vault.
- The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Vehicle Vault reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the Winners, Vehicle Vault reserves the right to award or not award the Winner status. Vehicle Vault reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose entry or conduct appears in any way to: inhibit the enjoyment of others; tamper with the competition; violate these rules or other applicable law or regulation; infringe on the rights of third parties; or act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Decisions of Vehicle Vault are final and binding.
